This stalk of wheat lives in the kitchen and grew in the garden the seed having fallen from the bird feeder.  I like the colour and the shape.  It also made me think of a song by They Might Be Giants so why not listen to the tune while looking at the pictures, its a bit of fun and it's only one minute twenty seconds so go on ...
