The Freedom Tree

Today I'm posting a few more shots from Jersey. I was only there overnight and so I didn't get to see much outside of St Helier, and with all the rain I definitely didn't see the island at its best.
Around St Helier there's a lot of emphasis on liberation following the last world war, and the tree in the first image is called the Freedom Tree and it commemorates the 60th anniversary of liberation.

The other pictures were taken along the harbour wall two different views of Elizabeth Castle and the final picture is of the walkway along the harbour wall at night with a bit of J J Abrams lens flare for effect.
