Bohemian Beauty

After visiting Prague the next planned stop on our trip was Vienna however a friend had suggested visiting a real gem of a town in Southern Bohemia called Cesky Krumlov. It involved a slight detour but the drive through the Czech countryside was really pleasant and when we arrived we were definitely not disappointed.

As you can see it was really picturesque and colourful. It is a wonderful medieval town with loads of character and fantastic architecture and shooting in black and white, even though it was very colourful, really gives a sense of the old character of the place.

I love the street scene in the third picture and do you see the trompe l'oeuil on the wall above the tapas bar on the left?
